YG was in attendance at Coachella this year, where he unleashed a new track, ‘Stop Snitchin,’ that seemed to point the finger at incarcerated rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine. YG used a billboard of 6ix9ine as he debuted the song onstage.
Tekashi was locked up last year and sources say he is due to be released as early as 2020. Word has it that the early release date is because he told federal authorities about the activities of other members of his gang.
Of course, we don’t know if that is true, and you also have to take into account the fact that YG and Tekashi have been going back-and-forth at each other for months.
The song, which could well appear on YG’s upcoming new album (set for release on May 3), includes the line:
