Why ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside’ SHOULDN’T Be Banned

You may have noticed that there has been a ripple of disapproval about the song, ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside,’ with radio stations banning the song amid concerns that it promotes rape culture.

However, it would appear that a lot of people have got the vintage song, which was written in 1944, all wrong. It is, it seems a matter of context and understanding the social history of the time when it was written – as a former teacher explained in a series of social media posts:
