Rappers love talking about how much money they have – but who really has the deepest pockets in the game?
Forbes have released their Hip-Hop Cash Kings list and sadly it is all about the Kings and not the Queens as no ladies made the cut this time out…
However, there were a few notable inclusions – the biggest of all being New York mainstay, Nas, who appears on the list for the first time in his career (we expect Kelis’ ears are perking up with that news!)
The list was compiled by looking at pre-tax earnings from music sales, endorsements, tours and other business ventures from June 2017 to June 2018, and includes artists, producers and executives.
The list, which you can see below, is headed up by Jay Z, who is back on top for the first time in five years – check it out:
1. Jay Z $76.5 million
2. Diddy $64 million
3. Kendrick Lamar $58 million
4. Drake $47 million
5. J. Cole $35.5 million
6. Nas/Dr. Dre $35 million
8. Pitbull $32 million
9. Future $30 million
10. Kanye West $27.5 million
