Rap Vets End ’17 Strong! JAY-Z Releases Ode Video To Projects Where He Was Raised In ‘Marcy Me’

‘Marcy Me’ is undoubtedly one of the best songs on Brooklyn mogul and legend, Shawn ‘JAY-Z’ Carter’s 4:44 album. JAY-Z takes listeners on a ride down memory lane as he recalls life growing up in the tough Marcy Projects in Brooklyn, NY.

Check out the extremely clever cinematic video which depicts urban life, and the perils of being an African-American growing up under the microscope of cops who are supposed to serve and protect.

Respect to JAY-Z for over two decades in hip-hop, showing that relevancy comes to those who never give up.
