R Kelly Claims He Can’t Be Creative 9-5

Just when we think we’ve heard it all when it comes to R Kelly he comes out with another load of bullsh*t to try and cover his tracks…

The disgraced R&B star has found himself in more trouble with the authorities for his Chicago warehouse studio not being in line with building codes.

With a judge ordering the studio is shut down until the codes are met, R Kelly launched a bizarre plea, claiming he is unable to work during normal business hours. He said:

Creativity manifests in various ways and a plethora of times…I have never been creative or worked between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. [I am] most creative between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m.”

While this in itself seems like a stretch, it was his next claim that really caught our attention.

R Kelly says that the reason the studio, which was featured in the ‘Surviving R Kelly’ docu-series, has beds and clothes is because of the late hours he works – despite those hours being against Chicago’s zoning laws.

Kelly stated:

“[This rule has] impacted my music and my ability to make any money. This inability to use my studio has not affected the landlord’s expectation that rent must be paid…I seek the ability to be able to work again.”
So, those beds weren’t there for his sexual deviancy, then?

And as for not being able to work 9-5 – tough luck Robert – deal with it…
