Poetic Justice? Martin Shkreli May Be Forced To Give Up Unique Wu-Tang Album

Scumbag hedge fund manager, Martin Shkreli may have to give up the unique Wu-Tang Clan album, ‘Once Upon A Time In Shaolin’ as part of a $7 million forfeit after being convicted of three different securities frauds.

Prosecutors assert that Shkreli should give up $7,360,450 of assets as a result of his lies to investors.

Federal prosecutors believe that Shkreli should turn over two hip-hop albums — the only known copy of the Wu-Tang Clan album and Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter IV’ — as well as $5 million in cash, interest in his ‘Touring Pharmaceutical’ company, and a Picasso painting. It was also said he should hand over a rare World War II-era Enigma code-breaking machine used against Nazi Germany.

Shkreli is currently stagnating at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., while he awaits sentencing. He has been convicted of misleading investors in two hedge funds, MSMB Capital and MSMB Healthcare. He lied to get their money and then tried to cover up massive losses following a bad stock bet. He could face up to 20 years in prison on the charges.

Prosecutors said the financial forfeit,

“represents a conservative computation of the proceeds Shkreli personally obtained as a result of his three different securities fraud crimes of conviction.”

It would be justice for the so-called ‘most hated man in the world,’ who is best known for raising the price of Daraprim — a 62-year-old drug primarily used to treat newborns and HIV patients — from $13.50 to $750 per pill!
