On this day: Mac Miller, Chamillionaire and Coo Coo Cal

It’s September 18 which means it is just three years since Mac Miller released his third album, ‘GO:OD AM.’ Of course, this anniversary is bittersweet as it comes just 11 days after Mac Miller passed away.

The personal album featured two singles, ‘100 Grandkids’ and ‘Weekend,’ featuring Miguel.

Today is also the anniversary of Chamillionaire releasing his second album, Ultimate Victory, back in 2007. The album was notable for not including any cursing and included the single ‘Hip-Hop Police,’ featuring the legendary Slick Rick…

Finally, rewinding to this day in 2001, Milwaukee’s Coo Coo Cal dropped his second album, ‘Disturbed’ which contained the chart-topping hit, ‘My Projects.’
