Nicki Minaj embarrassed by Cardi B scuffle – but is she right to be? (Plus Remy Ma gets involved!)

Nicki Minaj has spoken up to address her recent confrontation with Cardi B. In case you missed it, Nicki was faced down by a shoe-throwing Cardi B at New York Fashion Week.

Speaking on her Queen radio show, Minaj said:

“The way [these upper echelon people] passed by looking at this disgusting commotion, I was mortified … How we (and I’m going to use WE loosely) made ourselves look was mortifying.”

This has caused an immediate backlash against Nicki, who has been accused of trying to play up to the expectations of white people…

Of course, it was also good bait for Cardi’s fans…

What do you think?

Is Nicki right to think about how the fight was seen by others?

Quick to jump in and give her view was sometime Nicki Minaj nemesis, Remy Ma – who dropped some words of wisdom about the whole situation.

Remy said:

“She [Nicki] needs to stop talking crazy. Stop talking crazy. This is not just for her, this is a blanket statement for everybody. Stop talking crazy. Stop tweeting crazy. Stop doing all this Instagram… niggas are talking all this sh*t and as soon as some real sh*t happens, not an altercation where somebody gets hit in the head by security and ends up with a knot on their head, some real sh*t really happens where somebody’s in the hospital, somebody’s cut, somebody’s stabbed, somebody’s shot, somebody’s stomped out, everyone is going to be like ‘Oh my god, stop the violence’. But when niggas are talking all that real nigga shit, all that gangsta sh*t, and everything else, everybody thinks it’s cool. They’re quoting it and using it as lines to their songs. But as soon as something happens it’s, ‘Why would Cardi do that?’”
