Ma$e Ready To Increase The Beef With Former Friend, Cam’Ron

If you know your hip-hop history you will know that former Bad Boy rapper, Ma$e and Diplomats rapper, Cam’ron used to be in a group, alongside the late Big L, called Children of the Corn. However, some two decades on and the former friends are beefing.

Both MCs have dropped diss tracks aimed at each-other, with the latest being Ma$e’s scathing tune, ‘The Oracle.’ ‘Murda Ma$e’ dropped in to speak with Angie Martinez on Power 105.1 to explain why he decided to take his shots at ‘Killa Cam’ now…

Ma$e says that he realized the verbal jabs aimed at him weren’t “going to stop unless you say something.” As a result, Ma$e says, he decided to send a message to tell Cam’ron to “grow up.”

Ma$e explained:

“The spirit of the song is whatever happened when we were 19, grow up. Anybody should understand that. Whatever we went through at 19, 20 or even 21, grow up.”

He added:

“You knew eventually I was going to come out the house. you knew that. So why keep going there? That’s what he wanted. He got what he wanted.“

When Angie asked about ending the beef Ma$e warned:

“I told you how it ends. If it doesn’t stop it’s gon’ end bad for him.”

What does Ma$e mean? Like career-ending bad?

Maybe, as Ma$e continued:

“Really, I ain’t have nothing else to say. I said what I needed to say. He went on the radio and said what he needed to say. I go on the radio and say what I have to say. It could stop there or it don’t have to.”
