The cause of model/entrepreneur, Kim Porter’s death remains a mystery despite an autopsy being conducted some days back.
Coroners have listed the cause of death as ‘deferred’ following an autopsy from the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office on November 16.
Porter, an ex-girlfriend and mother of three of Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs’ children (Christian, D’Lila Star, and Jesse James Combs), died suddenly from what many are saying was a cardiac arrest following a bout of pneumonia.
Without an official answer, many are left wondering how it could be that the healthy 47-year-old could pass away so suddenly…
Porter is also the muse behind 90’s group Jodeci’s hit record – ‘Forever My Lady,’ which was penned by another of Porter’s exes, Al B. Sure (who is the father of her eldest son, Quincy).
Meanwhile, see just how much Kim Porter was loved as many people paid tribute to the former model and seemingly beautiful soul! Rest in peace, Queen.
Here are a few tributes from Puffy who called Porter his soulmate:
Her oldest son, actor, Quincy had this to say about his doting mother (who often made sure to rep her actor son who plays on the hit Fox show ‘Star’):
Porter was reportedly also married to singer/producer, Al. B. Sure for a short period of time, so it only fits that he paid his tribute. We don’t want to leave him out, as he is a big part of her history. There is also a beautifully compiled interview with Porter when she appeared on Al B. Sure’s TV One’s ‘Unsung’ segment.
Even Cassie who has had a relationship with Sean Combs off and on for the last eleven years, and said to be a one-time nemesis to Porter chimed in to show love and dispel the rumors:
Close friend model/mogul, Kimora Lee Simmons and childhood friend, producer, Dallas Austin remember:
Legendary music mogul Andre Harrell told the real story about how Combs and Porter met. In translation; Puffy followed Kim around for years until she finally gave in to his advances:)
We will leave you with the beautiful Jodeci song that was reportedly written about Porter. Now the song has a new meaning:
Take this as a lesson – love your life!
Our thoughts are with Porter’s family and friends at this time …
