H&M Called Out Over ‘Racist’ Hoodie…

H&M have been forced to apologize after an ad for a child’s hooded top was deemed racist.

The top features the slogan, ‘Coolest Monkey in the Jungle,’ but it was the fact that it was modeled by a young black boy that has caused offense.

While some bloggers and social media users found the whole thing offensive, others were more forgiving, saying that it was a simple mistake.

For their part, H&M switched out the picture so it no longer shows the model, with a spokesperson saying:

“This image has now been removed from all H&M channels and we apologise to anyone this may have offended.”
