Fast food fans can rejoice in the New Year after it was announced that McDonalds will trial running a delivery service in 2017.
From late January, nearly 200 McDonalds restaurants in Orlando, Tampa, and Miami will offer delivery using the UberEATS app and website.
UberEATS allows users to enter their delivery address and a card for payment while browsing the menus for different restaurants online. You can also track the progress of your order.
McDonalds plan to see how well their new delivery option is received in Florida before deciding whether to expand it to other places.
While the idea of having your Big Mac delivered straight to your door may appeal to some, we certainly wouldn’t recommend making it your go-to option at meal times – especially given our recent news about life expectancy in the U.S. falling for the first time in decades!
Stay healthy, people!
