When it comes to losing weight, it helps if you can increase your metabolism and burn off more calories. This may sound like a mammoth task, but by switching your routine around in small ways you can make a big difference to your weight. 1. Move Around

It may sound simple. But just by moving around a bit more you will burn up lots more calories. In fact, research says that people who move about burn one-third more calories than those who are more sedentary. This doesn’t mean that you have to go for a long run (although that may be good too), but rather just keep yourself moving a little throughout the day. In fact, people who move small amounts (fidgeting, tapping their feet, etc) tend to weigh less than those who don’t! Try some of these ideas to get yourself moving:
