Beyoncé’s fans, known as the BeyHive have been on the swarm over social media after the singer’s visual album, ‘Lemonade’ was blanked at the Emmys. Despite being nominated in four categories, the album took home no awards.
However, the category that was most sorely felt was for ‘Outstanding Directing For a Variety Special,’ which was won by Grease: Live’s directors Thomas Kail and Alex Rudzinski.
Jimmy Kimmel made light of Beyoncé’s loss, saying, “I wouldn’t want to be those guys when Kanye finds out they beat Beyoncé” – and he wasn’t far wrong, as the following messages show:
