Joss Whedon has returned with a new project to ‘Save The Day.’ The superhero director has enlisted the help of a number of star names to encourage Americans to go out and vote.
Whedon took to Twitter to reveal the project which stars Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, Julianne Moore, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Leslie Odom Jr.
Meanwhile his website explained:
While he didn’t specifically name any candidate it is clear who Whedon supports, with Don Cheadle warning of “a racist, abusive coward who could permanently damage the fabric of our society,” while Odom Jr. asks, “Do we want to give nuclear weapons to a man whose signature move is firing things?”
If that wasn’t clear enough, Joss explained how he got so many stars to help out, saying he simply asked them if they could “help get out the vote and stop orange Muppet Hitler.’”
