President-elect Donald Trump has said that he will be “leaving his business” in order to avoid any accusations over a conflict of interest as he takes up his post as President of the United States.
He took to Twitter to say that he will reveal his plans during a press conference on December 15th.
Trump explained that he would “discuss the fact that I will be leaving my great business in total in order to fully focus on running the country in order to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” He added, “While I am not mandated to do this under the law, I feel it is visually important, as President, to in no way have a conflict of interest with my various businesses.”
What do you think? Can Donald really cope with handing off his businesses to his children? We expect he’ll be keeping an eye on what they are doing regardless!
